Implement SEL values and objectives in order to achieve corporate goals. Supervise production schedules, production quality and on-time delivery. Assign assembler/operator duties, establish training needs and oversee training. Define assembler/operator performance standards, review outcome of performance goals and set future targets for assemblers. Identify staffing and capital needs, collect data and write the justification for those needs. Create, update and ensure control of department work instructions and reports. Coordinate and develop new product design with engineering staff and participate in new product launches. Improve quality and delivery costs by product family. Encourage professional development of assembly/operator staff. Identify and address personnel issues. Work within established safety and quality standards. Follow and improve manufacturing area processes.
