These motors are designed for application in various types of washing machines, such as semi-automatic, fully automatic, single tub, twin tub, top loading and front loading. Construction The motors are flange-mounted motors with sintered iron bush bearings lubricated for life.End-shields are either sheet metal pressed type with integral or separate flange or are of lightweight pressure cast aluminum. The motors are as per the need of the customer provided with a thermal overload protection device to prevent motor burnout during unusually high load conditions. These motors are of open type construction. An internal cooling fan is provided in certain types. Variety of shaft extensions can be provided for different types of mountings and depending on customers' requirement. The motors are of the capacitor run type.
